The trial of Andrea Sneiderman entered its second week with continuing statements trying to pin down the exact relationship between her and convicted murderer Hemy Neuman. A video of an interview police showed Sneiderman calling Neuman “crazy” and other testimony indicated that she told police the day after the shooting that Neuman had made a pass at her.
However, Sneidrman did not inform police that Neuman had asked her to marry him, nor did she inform them about a phone call she placed to Neuman following the first interview with police where she allegedly asked Neuman if he shot Mr. Sneiderman.
The nexus of the case focuses on charges of perjury and making false statements to police. More testimony can be expected to illustrate the nature of Sneiderman’s cooperation (or lack thereof) with police following the shooting.
